The act of Pakistani Wushu fighter Shahzaib Rindh raising the Indian tricolour flag on the internet went viral after he defeated Indian opponent Rana Singh at the Dubai Karate Combat on Saturday, April 20.
Shahzaib Rindh’s sighting flying the flags of both India and Pakistan after the victory against Rana Singh drew a lot of notice. Rindh gave an explanation for his gesture, stating that there is harmony and no animosity between India and Pakistan. He stated that the “fight was for peace” and the two countries are not “enemies.”

Shahzaib further stated that the tow countries are “together” and if stayed togther, they can do “anything.” He stated that the fight was to male India and Pakistan’s friendship stronger and “closer.”
He continued by thanking Bollywood superstar Salman Khan who attended the fight. The Wushu player even took over his official X account to thank him captioning the video with, “Thank you salman bhai for coming and supporting Pakistani athlete.”

Who is Shahbaiz Rind?
Age 25 Shahbaiz Rind is a Pakistani Wishu player for Red Dragon and Wilson Wushu Academy who stands 6’1″ tall. He is currently ranked No. 1 in Pakistan in wushu.
His Karate Combat record stands at 5-0. He created history in February earlier this year after he registered the fastest knockout at Karate Combat 44 in Mexico City and stunned Marco Cubas of Peru, with a knockout in 21 seconds during the first round.
Shahbaiz Rindย is a three-time national Wushu champion who lives in the state of Quetta, Pakistan. Rind’s parents joined him in the wushu sanda club when he was nine years old in an effort to help him focus and get discipline.
It was a smart move because Rindh took to the training well and soon found success in the martial arts industry. Throughout his brief career as a professional, he has engaged in a range of combat sports, excelling not just in wushu sanda (where he has over 60 victories). Additionally, he also participated boxing and kickboxing.
He is regarded as one of the top Wushu fighters in Pakistan, possessing an incredible combined win-loss record of 75-4 in both Wushu and Kickboxing.
Having made it to the global ONE Championship level, his main objectives are to win a two-division World Championship in the ONE Super Series and to represent Pakistan brilliantly.
