Approximately a year and a half since Kaitlin Armstrong first made global headlines for her alleged involvement in the death of her romantic rival and subsequent 43-day escape from the law, her murder trial is currently in progress.

It all happened when a Texas citizen, Kaitlin Armstrong, became caught up in a complicated romantic triangle with her lover, Colin Strickland, and professional cyclist Anna Moriah “Mo” Wilson. It resulted in Anna Mariah’s tragic murder that happened on 11 May 2022 after she was discovered to have been injured by numerous gunshot wounds.
Three days after the murder, Kaitlin Armstrong was first questioned by the police; however, after being freed, she made an effort to escape by traveling to Costa Rica. Even though she tried to change her look with plastic surgery and hair color, her escape sparked a fierce manhunt that ended with her capture.
After being returned to the United States, the 35-year-old yoga instructor and real estate agent was formally charged with first-degree murder. She filed a not-guilty plea in July 2022 and has been held at the Travis County Correctional Complex in Texas ever since. Her bond has been set at $3.5 million.
On Monday, a jury composed of eight women and six men was selected to determine her fate.
Beginning this week, the trial is being held in Austin. On Wednesday at 9 a.m., opening remarks were recorded, and the trial will be going on. According to a judge’s decision, cameras are only allowed in the courtroom during the opening and closing arguments as well as when the judgment is delivered.

Who is Kaitlin Armstrong?
Kaitlin Armstrong is a notorious yoga instructor. She has been in the news because trials have been started against her for the murder of cyclist Anna Moriah Wilson.
She was born on 21 November 1987 and grew up in Livonia, Michigan. She did her schooling at Stevenson High School in 2005. Later, she attended Schoolcraft College and Eastern Michigan University. She is a certified realtor and a yoga instructor, according to reports.
Kaitlin Armstrong was seeing professional cyclist Colin Strickland. But in the fall of 2021, they parted ways for a short while, at which point Strickland had already met Wilson and had started a brief romance with her. After some time, Armstrong and Strickland made up and started dating again.
She is currently 35 years old.
