Following the physical confrontation between the two students, the black student now faces criminal felony charges.

According to reports, the white student was left critically injured after getting her head continually smashed on the concrete.
Maurnice DeClue bio
Maurnice DeClue is a student at the Hazelwood East High School who recently got involved in a brutal school fight. She is currently just 15 years old, and there is hardly any public information available about her. According to the schoolโs official website, she was a member of the schoolโs volleyball team from 2023โ2024.
Video of black female student thrashing a white student goes viral
The shocking and brutal incident reportedly took place on Friday at the intersection of Norgate and Claudine drives near campus, Spanish Lake. Based on the viral video, the two high school girls were seen squaring off to fight in the middle of a street nearby their school.
Just a few seconds after the fight starts, the fight gets heavily one-sided as the black student throws the white teen girl to the pavement. The student, identified as Maurnice DeClue, then proceeds to throw a series of punches at the white girlโs face who is named Kailee. While is nothing is known about Kailee, she is currently said to be in a critical state in the hospital.
The authorities have neither disclosed the age of victim, nor they have revealed why the fight occurred and how many people were involved.
Another female student who attempted to intervene in the fight got attacked by other teenage girls present during the incident.
After hurling the punches, the video then shows the black student grab the other teen girl by the hair and repeatedly slam her head onto the concrete floor. The victim reportedly had her head bashed into the pavement about four times and was left lying unconscious. As she lay on the pavement, she started having convulsions. According to reports, the two juveniles reportedly took part in the confrontation after previously agreeing to meet and โface offโ each other.
Hazelwood School District releases official statement
Following the shocking incident, the Hazelwood School District has released an official statement addressing the viral fight video:
It is a tragedy anytime children are hurt. Bullying and fighting in the community is an issue for which we all need to take ownership and work towards a resolution for the sake of our children. The Hazelwood School District offers our sincerest condolences to everyone involved and will offer additional emotional support from our support and crisis team to those in need.โ
In the statement, the Hazelwood School District further added how it looks forward to continuing a partnership with the community for the sake of the children. The district concluded by encouraging everyone to be kind and respectful of the families involved during this difficult time. As the incident gets more viral with theย video now circulated across different social media platforms, Maurnice DeClue remains in St. Louis County Family Court on assault charges.
