The Carolina Panthers TopCats cheerleader, who is the NFL’s first cheerleader to identify as transgender, said she hopes to inspire the next generation by equating joining the team with becoming a doctor or nurse. As per the Fox News, she said:

She further said:
Turn that dream into a reality. Be an NFL cheerleader, or a doctor or a nurse or whatever you set your mind to.”
As a TopCats cheerleader, Lindsay is beginning her second season. Here is all you need to know about her.
Who is Justine Simone?
American dancer, cheerleader, and podcaster Justine Simone Lindsay was born on September 19, 1992. In 2022, Lindsay made history when she joined the Carolina TopCats, a cheerleading squad associated with the Carolina Panthers, and became the first openly transgender person chosen to support a National Football League team.
The 31-year-old Lindsay was a member of the Johnson C. Smith University Golden Bullettes dance team and later graduated from North Carolina State University with a bachelor’s degree in communications. Lindsay participated in a halftime show with the marching band from St. Augustine’s University in 2012 while still an undergraduate student.
Lindsay came out as transgender in a post on her Instagram after joining the team.
Although she faced a lot of backlash for it, Lindsay was simply hired for her talent and for no other reason, according to the Carolina Panthers TopCats director. The cheerleader, who understood how significant this was, was incredibly appreciative of the opportunity:
Since she was five or six years old, Justine Lindsay, who transitioned at the age of 17, has been into dancing. Lindsay admitted to wanting nothing more than to dance in an interview with QCity Metro, saying that her parents had always supported her.
