The Moms to Know and Kids to Know editor, unexpectedly passed away on Sunday night but on cause of death has been revealed yet.
For those who do not know, Julie Tingley founded and served as president of Wee Macree, a nonprofit give-back collective that is 501(c)(3). According to its Instagram account, the organization’s “mission is to support the causes that support our kids” and it offers graphic t-shirts with messages for kids.
Julie Tingley was a writer, philanthropist, child advocate, community builder, and businesswoman from Tampa, Florida. With the slogan, “Little kids, big hearts,” she established Wee Macree in 2021. Forty percent of the company’s profits are donated to the community to empower youngsters, according to the brand’s website.
Julie Tingley earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration and international business and marketing from Stetson University. She participated in the Mexican institution Universidad de Guanajuato’s Spanish study abroad program.
She and her husband Ken were parents to two kids, Ella and Kate. Julie spent more than 15 years as an award-winning sales representative in the medical field before starting her own nonprofit. Her LinkedIn profile states that she worked at Business Integrity Services from May 2023 to September 2024 as a business development manager.
Along with serving as a sales and marketing representative for Sanofi from 2005 to 2007 and the Southeast division of Avery Dennison Graphics Solution from 2003 to 2005, Tingley also worked as a pharmaceutical sales expert for AstraZeneca from 2007 to 2011.
The now-deceased businesswoman was also the market leader and author for The KNOW Women, a networking group and newspaper for women that was membership driven. As the KNOW Tampa Bay Ambassador, she contributed to the expansion of the local KNOW community and published the inaugural KNOW Tampa Book in 2018.

Tampa Bay Parenting Magazine also expressed their sorrow on Instagram, describing Tingley’s passing as a “nightmare” that they had been “waiting to wake up from.”
As a “super mom and super friend,” Julie gave “lovingly” to the community without expecting anything in return, according to the same publication. In addition to honouring Julie’s “legacy” and offering prayers for her loved ones, the post included multiple pictures of Julie both by herself and with her family, friends, and neighbours.
Following the announcement, Julie has received an overwhelming number of tributes.
