Kaveri Baweja is an Indian judge. She has been in the news because she will be the new judge to supervise cases about the Delhi excise policy controversy.

The high court has brought in judge Kaveri Baweja as the special judge to hear cases against MPs and MLAs at Rouse Avenue. She is a District Judge (Commercial) at the Tis Hazari Court and has also served as a civil judge in s*xual assault cases. Little else is known about her.

She is currently a special judge at the Rouse Avenue Court, New Delhi. She will now take over the Delhi excise policy scam, which involved Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, AAP leader Manish Sisodia, and Satendra Jain. Kejriwal has filed a case in the Delhi High Court contesting the ED’s summons.
