Who is Juan Carlos Ferrero?
Spanish-born Juan Carlos Ferrero played tennis professionally in the last. Ontinyent, Valencia, Spain, was the place of his birth on February 12, 1980. Ferrero, a star athlete in the early 2000s, is most well-known for his exceptional clay court skills.
After an outstanding ATP Tour career, Ferrero won the world No. 1 singles ranking in September 2003. At the 2003 French Open, where he defeated Martin Verkerk in the championship match, he won his first and only Grand Slam title. In 2003 and 2002, he also made it to the US Open and French Open finals, respectively.
