Chitra Tripathi was born on May 11, 1986. Chitra is 5ft 6in tall and is a Hindu Brahmin. She has two brothers, Amit and Aditya and a younger sister named Shweta who is a news anchor as well.
She married her longtime partner, Atul Agarwal, a news anchor and journalist in 2008 with the two having a son named Arun together.
