These dramatic moments are not from a movie or soap; rather, they are from the actual life of Jose Carlos Montoya in which he screamed and dropped to his knees while witnessing his “first love,” Anita, have a s*xual encounter with another man.
Jose Carlos Montoya and Anita Williams’ relationship was put to the test when they appeared on the reality TV show La Isla se las Tentaciones, also known as Island of Temptations, where they were invited into two different villas where unfaithful people attempted to entice them.
Jose who is a contestant on the Spanish version of Temptation Island has over 270,000 followers on Instagram.
José Carlos Montoya is 30 years old and Temptation Island has been a thing since he started school, and its whole point is how unethical it is. Even before the very first episode had aired, religious groups were expressing their outrage in the hope that it would get pulled off.
José Carlos Montoya may be new to international audiences, but this is not his first time on Spanish screens as the 30-year-old who hails from Seville is a flamenco singer and TV personality.
He previously starred in another Spanish reality show, where he met his current girlfriend Anita Williams and Montoya and Anita, 26, started going out a year before they entered La Isla de Las Tentaciones.
Their relationship wasn’t always easy, especially as Anita who is from Barcelona lived on the other side of Spain to Montoya and before entering La Isla de las Tentaciones Montoya described himself as more traditional than his free-spirited girlfriend.
La Isla de las tentaciones is the Spanish version of the reality series Temptation Island and the controversial show sees a handful of couples separated and thrown into a different villas with a group of single people whose purpose is to see whether they can tempt each member of the couple.
Throughout the show, contestants are able to see live footage of their partner in the other villa and La isla de las tentaciones airs on free-to-air channel Telecinco in Spain and is also available to Spanish residents via the Mitele streaming site. Those who don’t live in Spain cannot access it.
Since then, more than 109 million people have watched the altercation between the two. Anita is seen flirting with Manuel, a single man, after witnessing a video of Jose Carlos Montoya in receiving a kiss and a lap dance. As he watches them become amorous in the water, Montoya tosses the iPad, which is broadcasting the scenes across the floor.
However, when host Sandra Barneda takes Montoya outside the resort to show him the sultry scenes taking place across the beach, things quickly go far worse. He turns off the lights and hides under the covers after witnessing Anita and Manuel’s kiss in agony and destruction. He howls and tugs at his hair in distress.

When Anita hears the yells, she leaps off Manuel right away and labels Montoya a “scoundrel” without feeling guilty. On the beach, he is seen yelling and lying on the ground while he keeps asking, “Why?”
Anita is consoled by Manuel, but she soon regrets it and rushes after Montoya in her dressing gown, pleading for her pardon and insisting on going home. On social media, the moment has gone viral, with viewers praising it as the greatest entertainment reality TV has to offer.
