Daniel Christian posted on his Instagram account to make the official announcement. He posted, “I announced to my Sydney Sixers teammates yesterday at practice that I will stop competing at the conclusion of the BBL season. Sydney Smash tonight, then our match against the Hurricanes in the last round, and finally the championship,” he posted on Instagram.
“What I didn’t anticipate learning as a child, though, was how many individuals I would meet who would have an impact on my profession and wind up becoming lifelong friends. The ability to catch up with you all without having to say, “Sorry, I’ve got cricket,” is something I’m looking forward to now. “Go Sixers in the interim; I’ll save some thanks for after my final game, whenever that may be.”
