Jordan Willis’ father, in particular, insisted that his son would “never in a million years do anything.” Amid wild speculation from some relatives of the deceased men, who have pointed fingers at Willis and floated theories involving drugs, Willis’ father emphasized that his son is grieving just as much as the families of his friends.

While some have publicly suggested that drugs may be responsible for the deaths of David Harrington, Ricky Johnson, and Clayton McGeeney, the police have not identified foul play and underscored the need for autopsy and toxicology reports to determine the potential involvement of drugs.

Who is Jordan Willis?

As per various reports, the 38-year-old Jordan Willis is a protein scientist and an HIV researcher. He lives in NW 83rd Terrace, Kansas City.

The tragic discovery occurred two days after the trio had gathered at Willis’ home on January 7 to watch the Kansas City Chiefs’ final regular season game. McGeeney’s fiancée initiated a welfare check, leading to the grim revelation in the party host’s yard.

Outside his Kansas City home, Willis’ father defended his son, stating that the victims were all close friends who went to school together, and Willis had taken them to a football game the day before.

Willis’ attorney, John Picerno, claimed that Willis had been “asleep on the couch” with noise cancelling headphones while a loud fan whirred nearby for two days.

When concerned family members approached, Willis allowed the police to search his rental home, leading to the discovery of his friends’ deaths, which he claimed to be unaware of until then.

The defense of Willis by his father comes in contrast to Harrington’s father, who expressed skepticism about Willis’ account, stating that he is “not buying” it.

Jon Harrington questioned the circumstances, noting the incongruity of four people in the house, with three dead and Willis unharmed. He theorized that the deceased men might have witnessed something they shouldn’t have before their deaths.

As of now the deaths of three men remains mysterious. Meanwhile, authorities claims there was no foul play. At the time of writing this article, Jordan Willis has not been charged of arrested.
