John Forsyth was 49 years old as of 2023. He was an ER doctor by his profession and he served at Mercy Hospital for over 15 years.
The 49-year-old went out missing on the 21st of May 2023 after he left his home and went to work at a hospital situated in Cassville. This incident happened 3 days after he proposed to his now fiance.
As per reports by Benton County Sheriff’s Office, Forsyth’s body got recovered after 9 days of investigation from Beaver Lake, where he was last seen.
Richard Forsyth who is the brother of John Forsyth said, “There’s a way he did suicide.” Richard also revealed that his brother John was kidnapped in early 2022, and he was released later.
John Forsyth proposed to his fiance after he was done with a divorce settlement with his ex-wife. He was settled to give alimony of $19,000 per month and child support too.
As per Cassville Police reports, John went missing after he messaged his fiance saying he would be meeting her around 7 am, and then he suddenly stopped replying.
The CCTV footage shows that John Forsyth after finishing his shift from Mercy Hospital headed towards the parking, where he used to stay. John was expected to come back at 7 pm to hospital, but he was never back.
Richard revealed that they both had dinner on Wednesday prior to his disappearance. They sat and talked for continuous three hours. Later Richard told John that he is the happiest that I’d seen him in a long time.
John’s divorce was finalized on the 11th of May 2023 and after that, he decided to propose to his now fiancé. Police reported that the investigation is still in progress. The body identification of John Forsyth is still pending and his family will be doing it soon.
