He is a native of Elk Grove Village, Illinois, and is currently living in New York. He did his schooling at Elk Grove High School. Later, he attended DePaul University. He is characterized as being 180 pounds and 6 feet 3 inches tall.

John Castic was last seen around 1133 Grand Street, which is about half a mile from the music hall, according to the authorities. He was last seen with khaki pants and a floral top in white, navy, and red, according to a missing person poster.
