Jodi Hildebrandt career and profession

Jodi Hildebrandt currently runs a counseling service based in Utah called โ€œConneXions Classroomsโ€. She started out her career working at Cirque Lodge, which is a drug rehabilitation institution that focuses on addiction therapy. Cirque Lodge is now an internationally known Drug and Alcohol Treatment Center. She worked there for about five years.

Interestingly, the Utah Clinical Mental Health Counsellor Licencing Board placed Jodiโ€™s therapist licence on probation for 18 months back in January 2012. Jodi got her licence under probation after she discussed about a patient’s “p**n addiction” with leaders at their Mormon church. She did this without the consent of the said patient.

After her time at Cirque, Jodi designed and wrote the curriculum for ConneXions Classes.

ConneXions classrooms was founded and designed by Hildebrandt and advertises itself as a mom’s support group that โ€œ

assists and rehabilitates individuals who are lost and stuck in the darkness of distortion, which gives birth to fear, despair, and all other self-destructive behaviors. However, her teachings have been criticized as radical, harmful, and authoritarian.โ€

According to Jodi there are three essential concepts for a person to adopt in order to connect with somebody. She believes that if her followers do not follow these rules, they are “in distortion.” Moreover, she also states a person needs to establish boundaries in order to separate themselves from people in distortion. This is so that a person does not get lured into the same distortion with them.

Jodi also encourages people to suggest their family members to her program in order to have a genuine connection. She claims that people who do not learn these โ€œnew Truthsโ€ of life, will never get to connect with anyone else in life successfully.

Ruby Franke joins ConneXions

Prior to joining alongside Jodi, Ruby Franke had her own YouTube channel called the 8 Passengers. The channel followed her life alongside her husband, Kevin, and their six children, Julie, Chad, Shari, Abby, Russell, and Eve. While the channel enjoyed some success, the family has since gone on a downward spiral over the last three years.

At its peak, the channel had over 2.5 million subscribers before it was pulled offline earlier this year. The reason for this still remains a mystery. Interestingly, the family has faced several allegations over the past few years, which started the channelโ€™s downfall. Eventually, Franke re-focused herself and joined another different company. Franke announced back in June 2022 that she would join a new channel called ConneXions alongside Jodi Hildebrandt.

Ruby Franke and Jodi Hildebrandtโ€™s โ€œConneXionsโ€ dubbed as a โ€˜cultโ€™

Interestingly, many people have started claiming online that ConneXions is a cult. In fact, some have even reviewed the organization on its official website.

A user named Anna Marie wrote six months:

I wouldnโ€™t trust this company. They use brainwashing tactics to manipulate you, they intentionally make you feel bad about yourself and use slander. Please stay away from this company at all costs. They are a scamโ€.

Meanwhile, another person called Vincent wrote about a month ago:

They will ruin your family through mind control. They donโ€™t want you to think for yourself and critically think. They want to shelter you. They are an actual cult. AN ACTUAL CULT. They also assaulted me so Iโ€™m suingโ€
