Jimalita Tillman has filed a defamation lawsuit against former NFL star Shannon Sharpe, accusing him of spreading false information about her marital status. According to Jimalita, Shannon made the false comments following a viral video from an Usher concert. Sharpe was on his podcast “Nightcap” with Chad Johnson while implying that Tillman’s supposed husband was divorcing her because of her on-stage interaction with Usher.

Jimalita Tillman is an accomplished arts administrator and a cultural leader based in Chicago. She currently serves as the Global Director of Programs and Operations at the Harold Washington Cultural Center. She is known for her dynamic presence in the arts and education community, and she recently gained sudden national attention after the viral Usher concert clip. Jimalita Tillman is currently not married but she is a single mother of Dorothy Jean Tillman II. Dorothy is a prodigy who recently earned a doctorate in Behavioral Health at the young age of 17. Tillman reportedly homeschooled her daughter from a young age.
