As per the Devon and Cornwall Police, the officials stated that they were called to Queens street in Exeter on Thursday, February 2, 2023 after a woman reported assault.

Who’s Jevani Brown?
For those who are unfamiliar with the player, let us tell you, the footballer, whose full name is Jevani Jason Brown, was born in Letchworth, England on October 16, 1994.
Brown plays as a Forward for the EFL League One club Exeter City. At the youth level, the footballer has also represented Jamaica internationally after which he was called up at the senior level.
The 5 ft 9 in tall player started his career at Milton Keynes Dons and later went on to join Peterborough United.
After impressing everyone within youth ranks, he became a regular for the Peterborough youth sides. He was even promoted to the first-team squad ahead of their 2013-14 campaign.
However, he was subsequently released by them in November 2013. After which he plays for a number of non-league sides such as Langford, Barton Rovers, Wingate & Finchley and Arlesey Town before finally joining Kettering Town in 2015.
The 28-year-old has represented Jamaica at u-17 level after he made his debut in 2011 during CONCACAF U17 Championship. At the time he played against Guatemala in February 2011.
Last year in August, again Brown was called to represent Jamaica at the 2022 Austria Mini Tournament.
So far, Brown has played in a total of 27 matches and scored 12 goals along with 9 assists.
In his last match on Saturday, January 28, 2023 against MK Dons, his team scored 2 goals and 3 shots within an 89 minutes long match.

Now coming back to his recent arrest, as per a report by BBC, Brown has been released on bail and is due to appear before “Exeter Magistrates Court,” on Thursday 16 February.
