Days before her 26th birthday, the beauty queen allegedly passed away in Michael Owen’s stables “after falling from a horse,” a look at who is Jessica Whalley and her cause of death

A friend claims that a beauty queen died at Michael Owen’s stables after sliding off her horse.

Jessica Whalley, 25, passed away on Tuesday morning after falling at Manor House Stables near Malpas in Cheshire, where she worked as a transport manager.

She sadly passed away just a few days before her 26th birthday this coming Saturday, according to Allison Samuel, one of her closest friends.

She told The Sun that Miss Whalley’s death was caused by slipping off her horse, according to her.

Insiders at the stable, speaking to MailOnline, refuted this and said it would be “premature” to assert otherwise. They also called it “an incident rather than an accident.”

The stables declined to speak further when MailOnline inquired about the allegations regarding the horse.

Miss Samuel added that after her parents’ divorce, her friend, who aspired to be the head girl at a yard, moved to Cheshire, and the trainer Hugo Palmer followed suit.

A spokesman for the office told MailOnline this morning that although the death was reported to the HM Coroner’s Office for Cheshire yesterday, no decision regarding an inquest has been made as the case is still “in its very early stages.”

Who was Jessica Whalley?

Former beauty pageant winner and horsewomen Jessica Whalley was born in 1998.

On March 28, 2023, she passed away at the stables held by former England and Liverpool player Michael Owen.

She took part in the Miss Tourism Universe 2019 competition, which was hosted in Beirut and aired on MTV, and she placed in the top 10.

She worked as the transport manager at the stables close to Malpas, Cheshire, run by the former striker’s daughter, the 19-year-old Love Island star Gemma Owen.

Her coworkers called her Jess. She was pronounced dead there at the site.

Whalley characterised herself as the “traveling head person” at Manor House Stables in addition to working for Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, vice ruler of Dubai, United Arab Emirates, who is the owner of a sizable worldwide network of thoroughbred stables.
