Renowned stunt pilot Rob Holland lost his life in a Virginia plane crash, leaving behind his wife Jessica
Pete Muntean of CNN reported that Rob Holland died on Thursday morning while arriving at the Langley Air Force Base, which is close to Hampton. Over the weekend, he was supposed to appear at the Air Power Over Hampton Roads air show.

Age 50 Rob Holland, a famed aerobatic pilot who wowed airshow crowds and championship judges, died in a plane crash in coastal Virginia, leaving behind his wife.
“Very sad to report champion aerobatic pilot Rob Holland was killed during landing at Langley Air Force Base where he was to perform at this weekend’s air show, according to posts from his verified social media accounts. Rob was a good man, incredible pilot, and friend. RIP,” Muntean wrote on X.

Media reports stated that Rob and his wife, Jessica who is an aeronautical engineer, were married in May 2011. They met when she came to his office for an aerobatic ride, he told the magazine. Jessica works as an engineer in aviation. According to the magazine, they dated for nine months before moving on to the next phase of their relationship.
In 2011, Rob Holland talked about his meeting with his wife, Jessica, in detail in an interview with Sport Aerobatics magazine.
He told the outlet in 2011 that they “hit it off” right away after meeting “five and a half years ago.” The two became close friends after meeting for the first time in Holland’s workplace. While Jessica’s DOB isn’t known, she is aged between 40-50 years.
Before they said, “I do,” they dated for nine months. He participated in and won the national championship at the World Aerobatic Championships (WAC) even after getting married.

Rob Holland, an award-winning stunt and aerobatic pilot from Nashua, New Hampshire, was born in New England on May 30, 1974. He graduated from Daniel Webster College in 1997 with two Bachelor of Science degrees in Aviation Management and Aviation Flight Operations. In addition, Holland had more than 15,000 flight hours in more than 180 different aircraft types and was certified as an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP).
Flying aircraft such as the Pitts S-2C, Ultimate 20-300S, MX2, and ultimately his specially built MXS-RH, he began his airshow career in 2002. In Nashua, he also operated an aerobatic flight school called Aerial Advantage Aviation.
