On Saturday, Cole Palmer whose father is Jermaine, became the first player in Premier League history to score four goals in the first half of a match
The Chelsea player Cole Palmer faced a difficult assignment playing the undefeated visitors because he has not scored a goal at home for the Blues this season.
Georginio Rutter scored the first goal for Brighton quickly after Robert Sanchez made a terrible attempt to intercept him, playing against his old team. With the exception of Palmer, who quickly raced through and dinked the ball over Bart Verbruggen only to have it stopped by the post, Chelsea were frightened by the early goal.
Who is Jermaine Palmer the father of footballer Cole Palmer and more about his nationality and ethnicity
Palmer did have the ball in the back of the net a few seconds later, but the offside call cut the celebrations short. Shortly later, Palmer made a breakthrough as Nicolas Jackson sped out of Brighton.
Cole Palmer was born on May 6, 2002 in Wythenshawe, Manchester. Raised by a dyslexia assessor mother named Marie and a dental engineer father named Jermaine Palmer who fixes dental equipment, he grew up in Wythenshawe with one sister. Palmer frequently observed his father, a Sunday league football player for almost twenty years.
Speaking about Jermaine’s impact on his career, Cole had said, He used to sit me down on the bag of balls on the sidelines, wrapped in one of his rain jackets. I would just take it all in – the crunching tackles, the shouting, the arguing.
Palmer received education at St. Bede’s College, which collaborated with Manchester City Academy. His sister Hallie Jennifer Palmer is a designer and blogger.
Afro-Kittitian descent makes up Palmer’s father’s side of the family. His great-grandparents immigrated to the UK in 1960 as part of the Windrush generation.
His dad’s family is from St Kitts and Nevis in the Caribbean and that’s why he has the St Kitts flag on my boots, as a little tribute to his father and his family.
