With more than 138 million followers combined throughout the Sidemen group, which includes KSI, there have been many eyes on the move into football and many have responded to the news.

With Brown now not considered for first-team intentions and expected to join their B-Team setup moving ahead, the response from Crawley supporters has been mixed. A reader wrote: “Complete joke. Just when I think things can’t possibly get much sillier.”

Another retaliation: “It’s our B team, guys, relax. Have you ever watched him perform?”

Official statement from the club

A brief declaration read: “The Crawley Town Football Club is excited to announce the signing of Jedidiah Brown to the Red Devils on a one-year contract. Jed has signed a developmental contract with the club and will play for the B squad.”

In November 2022, Jed and his two brothers, Tobi and Manny, started out as club trialists. After previously playing for Fisher FC in London, Jed began practising with the team and has now formally joined. While Jed’s age isn’t known, he is believed to be in his early 20s while Tobi is aged 29.

Preston Johnson, a co-chairman, stated that Jed is a young athlete who has performed admirably during prior training sessions with the team, and they are glad to have him continue his development as a member of their B team. The club look forward to Jed’s ongoing improvement as he practises with his new teammates even though he may not currently be part of our first-team plans.
