Jayme Unwittingly Was Keeping Her Own Girl Alive
17-year-old Montana was simply unrecognizable because of all her severe wounds from the accident. Jayme and her colleague tried to save the victims for nearly half an hour, giving their best attempts to get them out of the car. They were the first ones to reach the site after the accident.
Following the attempts to revive them, STARS ambulance airlifted the victims to the hospital. Once Jayme went home after completing her shift, the RCMP (Royal Canadian Mounted Police) officers called up to inform her about the tragic news. The officers informed her that the patient she had just attempted to save was her daughter Montana.
