Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders was the target of a terrible practical joke on Friday night, the second day of the 2025 NFL selection. Someone posing as Mickey Loomis, the general manager of the New Orleans Saints, called Sanders during an unexpected drop.
It was discovered that the individual who hung up following the prank call was a University of Mississippi student. Sydney Schoen, the daughter of New York Giants general manager Joe Schoen, soon became the centre of attention with many believing it was her behind the prank call.
“It’s been a long wait, man,” the person said. “We’re going to take you with our next pick, man, but you’re going to have to wait a little bit longer, man. Sorry about that.”
