Kawakita clarified in a subsequent interview that she quit because her friends learned about her AV career.
In 2021, Kawakita made her comeback public in the magazine FANZA. On July 14, her comeback movie, Kawakita Saika Re:Start, was released. Since then, she has been active and has swiftly become one of the year’s most well-liked JAV idols.
Alongside other celebrities including Yua Mikami, Rara Anzai, and Konan Sayoi, Kawakita has starred in 44 films as of November 2022. Although Kawakita will still go by Saika Kawakita, she switched agencies to Mines Pro in 2024 and now goes by the acting name Ayaka Kawakita.
