Twenty pages of the suicide note that was discovered at Atul’s home was typed out, with four pages being handwritten.
According to the letter, the technician attributes the harassment he experienced to ongoing marital conflict and places the blame on his wife and her family. Additionally, he shared it with a WhatsApp group of an NGO he was engaged with and sent it to a number of individuals via email. The suicide letter claims that even though his wife was already getting ₹40,000 per month in maintenance “despite working at Accenture and earning her own money,” she still wanted an additional ₹2-4 lakhs.
She had also allegedly instigated Subhash to kill himself in both the court and on WhatsApp messages with him and also threatened to keep extorting money from his parents after his death. She has since deleted her Instagram profile which went by _nikita_singhania_.
Nikita and Subash had gotten married in 2019 and had a four year old son together who was living with Nikita. His wife’s father died of disease soon after his marriage but his wife got an FIR under sections of murder slapped on his family claiming he died of shock because of the demand of dowry. When Atul refused to give more money, his wife left the Bengaluru home with their son in 2021 after their marriage through a matrimonial website.
Atul has a brother Bikas Kumar who told police that Atul’s estranged wife had filed false cases against him and his parents and that he was mentally upset.

Atul Subhash’s legal troubles
Atul Subhash’s wife had filed a complaint against him in Uttar Pradesh, and he was involved in court battles with her. According to authorities, a recent court decision that went against him added to his sorrow.
Before he committed suicide, he organized his death note, car keys, and a list of activities that were finished and still unfinished on a cupboard.
By the way – this is judge who helped Nikita Singhania all along and enforced the man to die out of mental harrassment . Judge should not be pardoned just because they are the judges. Misuse of power should be stopped from legal gatekeepers.#JusticeIsDue #NikitaSinghania pic.twitter.com/QuPrsyCsMQ
