In a conversation on the Prakhar ke Pravachan podcast, Badshah revealed the reasons behind his divorce from Jasmine Masih. The rapper added that despite their best efforts to be together, they came to the conclusion that their married existence was “not healthy” for their kid.

Jasmine Masih and Badshah’s relationship
According to Badshah, they initially connected on Facebook and he declared, “I loved her with all my heart.” After attending a party hosted by a mutual friend in Chandigarh, they decided to tie the knot in 2012, having dated for about 1.5 years.
Badshah said that although his parents supported his decision, they had just questioned him, “Are you sure? Given that she was raised in London, it could cause issues.” Regretfully, the rapper experienced the same scenario in his life. According to Badshah, “It became really chaotic since she was unable to adapt to the society. However, in that relationship, we gave it our all.”
According to Badshah, his ex-wife and child are devout Christians who also adore his song Paani Paani. “However, she is a bigger fan of the South Korean music group Blackpink,” the 38-year-old shared.
