Japanese football player Junya Ito was born on March 9, 1993, in Yokosuka, Kanagawa, Japan and currently plays striker or wing for both the Japan national team and Ligue 1 club Reims. The 31-year-old stands 1.76 m (5 ft 9 in) tall.
A look at Junya Ito’s career
It was a Special Designated Player for Ventforet Kofu for four years after graduating from Kanagawa University. He later signed a new contract with the J1 League team. Kashiwa Reysol took an interest in him during his debut season as a professional athlete. January 2016 saw him signed by the Chiba club.
Junya moved to Genk on a one-year loan agreement on January 31, 2019, from Kashiwa Reysol. He started in the group stage encounter against Red Bull Salzburg on September 18 to make his Champions League debut. Ito signed a three-year permanent contract with Genk on March 30, 2020.
