Kazuki Anaguchi was an upcoming Japanese professional boxer who recently passed away at the young age of 23. The bantamweight prospect passed away after he tragically succumbed to the injuries he sustained in his last fight. Kazuki sustained a series of injuries, particularly a subdural hematoma to his brain from a Boxing Day fight last December. According to reports, Kazuki had undergone emergency surgery to remove the subdural hematoma following the clash.

Kazuki Anaguchi fought his last fight against Seiya Tsutsumi last December on the undercard of the Naoya Inoue vs. Marlon Tapales undisputed junior featherweight clash. During the fight, Tsutsumi beat up Anaguchi to a bloody pulp and left him with a horrific cut. He lost consciousness during the fight, and officials had to transport him to the hospital. He had since remained in a coma after receiving treatment.

As an amateur boxer, Kazuki Anaguchi had an impressive record of 68 wins and six losses. Following his success as an amateur, he turned pro in July 2021 and had a perfect 6-0 record before his last fight with Seiya Tsutsumi.
