Who’s Janaki Easwar?
Janaki, who rose to fame last year after appearing in a popular music reality show of Australia, titled The Voice.
The 13-year-old became the youngest ever contestant of the reality show.
Janaki, who’s origin is Indian, lived in Australia with her parents, Anoop Divakaran and Divya Raveendran as they moved to the foreign land 15 years ago. She is a Hindu by religion.
However, the couple are originally from Kozhikode in Kerala.
Easwar, who’s now going to perform at the World Cup,’s closing ceremony with her Australian rock band Icehouse was born on February 7, 2009.
As per a report by the popular culture publication Rolling Stone India, the singer has outspoken about her Indian and Australian upbringing without any hesitation.
She even seen singing raag Kamas on the popular reality tv show of Australia.
Though the musician is quite popular in Australia, however, she is now breaking the ice into India as she appeared in many television performances in Kerala
As per reports, when the song-writer was 5-year-old her parents introduced her to Indian music, later she started taking Carnatic singing tranning.
