Shubham Khajuria is an Indian cricketer who currently plays for the Jammu and Kashmir cricket team at the domestic level. He was born on September 13, 1995, in Jammu, and he is currently 29 years old. Shubham mainly plays as a right-handed opening batsman and started out playing for the India Under-19 cricket team back in 2013. He was just the second cricketer from Jammu and Kashmir to join the U-19 team.

Shubham Khajuria scores double century in Ranji Trophy 2024-25

Shubham Khajuria scored an impressive double century against Maharashtra in the ongoing Ranji Trophy 2024-25. Khajuria led the charge against Maharashtra, helping the side set their innings at an impressive 519/7. Khajuria scored an impressive innings of 255 not out off 353 balls. Career

Shubham Khajuria made his first-class debut back in November 2011 during a match against Maharashtra. He played for Jammu and Kashmir, making his debut at just 16 years old. Shubham batted at No. 4 during the match, and went on to score 34 and 13. He eventually secured a spot in the first team around 2014, and notably played in the first match of the 2014-15 Ranji Trophy against Mumbai. During the match Khajuria scored an impressive 107 runs during the first innings, and 78 in the second innings.

Later in 2018, Khajuria played in the Ribblesdale League based in the North-West of England. He signed as a club professional for the Oswaldtwistle Immanuel Church Cricket Club. While playing for the club, Shubham Khajuria helped them secure their first ever league title, with 1502 league and cup runs. He also broke the club record for the most runs with made 229 (not out) during a league match. Khajuria was also notably the leading run-scorer for Jammu & Kashmir during the 2018โ€“19 Vijay Hazare Trophy. He is currently going viral for scoring a double century for J&K after 22 years.
