The outlet further states that Promes was accused of being involved in the cocaine smuggling last May. The cocaine was discovered in Antwerp in January 2020, where it was found in two batches weighing 650 kg and 713 kg apiece.
Promes started playing football at RKSV DCG and later joined the esteemed Ajax Academy. Before joining the Russian team Spartak Moscow in the summer of 2014, he started his career in 2011 with Twente and played there for three seasons. His greatest achievement came in 2017 when Spartak was crowned Russian Premier League winners.
Quincy played for several clubs, including Sevilla, Ajax, Twente, and others, before joining his present one. In international competitions, he has also represented the Netherlands national team.
