Jake Weddle is a writer, stand-up comedian, and YouTuber who previously worked for the MrBeast YouTube channel as a writer, director, and sometimes as a cameraman. In addition, he expressed that he harbored no resentment towards MrBeast or his former colleagues. However, in August 2024, Jake Weddle, once again shared a video opening up about the more in-depth look at his time working with Jimmy.

What Did Jake Weddle Reveal?

In his now viral-video Jake can be seen discussing insights into what Jimmy is really like behind the scenes. He also claimed that he was initially supposed to be a part of the core cast of the videos, alongside Jimmy, Kris Tyson and Chandler, however, this plan was never materialized.

Moreover, in his viral video, he emphasized how frustrated he felt by the lack of screen time and how he struggled with the content and the work environment. He also mentioned that he was supposed to leave the channel earlier than he did, however, he wasn’t “allowed” to do that at the time.

Furthermore, he criticized the current state of the MrBeast’s content, describing it as “algorithm-driven, SEO bulls***t,” while accusing the channel of using marketing tactics to “trick” viewers into buying products.

Additionally, he went on to elaborate the limitations that he faced as a writer, while comparing his experience to a punk band writing for Taylor Swift, describing the writing style as “inoffensive, formulaic, approachable.”

He also hinted at receiving a sum of $100,000 as potential “hush money” to keep him from revealing sensitive information about the channel, though he made this claim satirically.

Meanwhile, he referenced a documentary by YouTuber DogPack404 titled “I Worked For MrBeast, He’s A Sociopath,” which included an interview with Weddle.

In another documentary released in July, DogPack404 accused MrBeast of being a fraud and made serious allegations, including that a registered s*x offender was part of the MrBeast crew.
