The 21-year-old right-handed batsman made his first-class debut for Victoria on November 12 in the 2019โ20 Sheffield Shield season. He made his List A debut on November 17, 2019, as he participated for Victoria in the 2019โ20 Marsh One-Day Cup. His first-class and List A debut both saw him hit fifty.
In December 2019, he was a part of Australia’s roster for the Under-19 Cricket World Cup in 2020. He had to quit the competition early due to a monkey scratch he received while the squad was visiting a wildlife reserve. He made his Twenty20 debut on December 12, 2020, while competing for the Melbourne Renegades in the 2020โ21 Big Bash League season.
