Jaime Alcaraz Garfia, who is only 11 years old, has already made a name for himself on the juvenile circuit. Videos of the talented youngster displaying his amazing tennis skills have previously gone viral on social media. Many of Carlos Alcaraz’s teammates have also praised Jaime for his skills on the court.
Just weeks after his older brother’s spectacular victory at Wimbledon, the youngster has already demonstrated his toughness by taking first place in the U-12 division on the Rafa Nadal tour. Jaime Alcaraz won the trophy by defeating Beltran Serrano De Pablo in the final contest. As he celebrated his victory, he uploaded pictures of himself on social media carrying the prize.
Carlos’ victory occurred in 2016, seven years prior to Jaime’s victory. The Spaniard was the Rafa Nadal tour’s U-14 division champion at the time. Along with Rafael Nadal, who was in attendance, the two-time Grand Slam winner was able to record the special moment on camera.
Jaime Alcaraz has the ‘better forehand’
According to Carlos Alcaraz, the young Jaime idolises Dominic Thiem and wishes to follow in his footsteps. Jaime Alcaraz Garcia was portrayed in a video that surfaced online. The young player showed off his incredible tennis skills while hitting the practise court at the IMG Future Stars.
The Babolat Pure Strike racquet that Thiem uses was also seen being used by Jaime. “He’s playing the right racket, @carlitosalcarazz”, Thiem humorously said after noticing the fascinating aspect. In response, Carlos commented, “@domithiem he loves you!! “, indicating that Jaime looks up to Thiem as his idol.
The current world champion has already claimed that his younger sibling may be more talented than he is. “Better forehand than mine,” the two-time Major champion wrote on a video of his brother practising. IMG Future Stars claims that Abenza Sanchez Ramon is Jaime’s trainer.
