The popular line of organic and sustainable baby products called Lunilou was developed and is owned by Mateo Kovacic’s wife named Izabel Kovacic who is 29 years old. Since 2015, she has co-managed the company with her older sister, Ivana Lucic, which sells baby moccasins, cushions, and other goods. On October 12, 2020, the couple became proud parents for the first time when Izabel gave birth to their first son, Ivan.

How did Mateo and Izabel meet?
Izabel and Mateo met in a church when they were teenagers. Mateo, whose parents are Bosnian and Croatian, was born in Austria and lived there with his family up until the age of 12 when they moved to Zagreb. The future star of the midfield was an altar boy when he was younger and comes from a devout Catholic family; he still goes to church every Sunday.
In Sesvete, which is located 30 minutes outside of Zagreb, Mateo and Izabel first met in the St. Anthony of Padua church. Where he had been an altar boy, she had been a choir member.
For their marriage ceremony in June 2017, Mateo and Izabel returned to the same church.
