It has been reported that Ipswich Town manager Kieran McKenna is expected to replace David Moyes to become new manager of the West Ham.
According to TEAMtalk, the Ipswich Town’s highly respected manager, is a possibility to replace West Ham’s current boss. There are just three games left for them to place in the top two.
This weekend, McKenna’s team is away to Hull City; the next week, they go to Coventry City; and on the last day of the season, they return to Portman Road to take on Huddersfield Town.

Who is Kieran McKenna?
Kieran McKenna is a Northern Irish football manager who currently leads Ipswitch Town of the EFL Championship. The former player was born on May 14, 1986 in London, England and stands 1.75 m (5 ft 9 in) tall.
His brothers are James and Robbie and father is Liam and mother is Mary. He comes from a wealthy family which owns and runs the Manor House Hotel in Fermanagh.
His 4-2-3-1 structure enables aggressive pressure from the wingers, supported by the closest pivots, full-backs, number 10 and the narrowed far-side winger.
A look at Kieran McKenna’s career
As mentioned before, Kieran used to be a former player. He began his football career at Ballinamallard United and Enniskillen Town United in Northern Ireland as a youth. He became a young player for the Spurs in 2002 after accepting a scholarship offer.
He played as a Northern Ireland representative at the under-19 and under-21 levels. Following a hip injury that kept him out of the Tottenham first squad, McKenna decided to retire from the game in 2009 at the age of 22.
After hanging up his boots, McKenna studied Sports Science at Loughborough University and started a coaching career. He coached young players for Tottenham Hotspur, Nottingham Forest, Leicester City, and the Canadian Vancouver Whitecaps.
He then joined Tottenham Hotspur, his boyhood club as the Head of Academy Performance Analysis. Although he was offered to lead Liverpool Academy, he chose to stay with the Spurs and became the boss of 18s side.
In 2016, McKenna went to Manchester United to become the coach for their Under-18 Academy manager. Prior to the 2018–19 Premier League season, McKenna and Michael Carrick, a former United player, were promoted to the first team coaching staff and succeeded Rui Faria as Jose Mourinho’s assistant manager.
The 37-year-old whose preferred formation is 4-2-3-1, has been with Ipswich Town since December 2021 three and a half year deal and ended up being the Championship Manager of the Season in 2023-24 season.
