Leif Davis is an English professional footballer who was born in Newcastle on New Year’s Eve, in 1999. The youngster currently plays for EFL Championship club Ipswich Town. He mainly plays as a left back and can also play as a centre back. Davis possesses impressive crossing skills and often uses this ability to provide assists.

Davis played for Cramlington Juniors from the age six-15 and then played for Wallsend Boys Club for a year. Following that season, he joined struggling League Two club Morecambe in 2016 on a two-year scholarship. While Davis didn’t make his senior debut, he regularly trained with the first team.
He soon joined Leeds United as an 18-year-old and quickly got promoted to the first team after impressing with the Under-23s. He first feature on the bench during a 4-1 defeat at West Brom on November 10. After three more matches as an unused substitute, he featured on the starting XI during a match against Aston Villa on December 23, 2018.
After Leeds secured promotion to the Premier League, Davis made just two starts and three sub outings. Leif Davis made his Premier League debut on October 3, 2020, coming in as a substitute in the 77th minute. He came in during a 1-1 home draw with Manchester City. Davis then went out on loan to Championship club Bournemouth the following season before finally joining Ipswich Town.
He made his debut during a 1โ1 draw against Bolton Wanderers at Portman Roada and quickly established himself as the first choice left-back.
