Anish Dayal Singh has been appointed as the new director general of ITBP, as per the orders issued by the DopT on Saturday. The order of his appointment as DG was passed by the personnel ministry after the sanction from the appointment committee of the cabinet (ACC) which is headed by the prime minister of India, Narendra Modi.

Anish Dayal Singh Professional Career

Anish Dayal Singh who is a 1988 cadre batch officer, Manipur Cadre, is presently serving as the special director in the intelligence bureau; IB. While his date of birth is not known, he is aged between 55-60 years.

Anish Dayal was also appointed as the Special Director in June 2021, IB. He has worked on numerous desks and also he has handled various investigations during his tenure in the central intelligence agency.

Anish Dayal Singh has been appointed as DG, ITBP from the date of joining till December 31, 2024 which is a set for his superannuation or until another order is passed for him earlier.
