Waseem Bashir is presently a part of J and K’s U-25 team and has been mentored by popular cricketer Irfan Pathan during his stint at Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association. A series of videos that show Waseem breaking stumps at the domestic matches are trending on social media platforms.
Waseem Bashir is from far-off Pahalgam village in Jammu and Kashmir who can bowl 150km per hour on a constant basis. The 22-year-old right-hand pacer is currently part of the Jammu and Kashmir U-25 team and was called for trials by Indian Premier League franchise Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) last year.
He is from far-off Pahalgam village, Mama and at high school level played U-19 and U-23 at district and state level cricket during his secondary and higher secondary school days. He used to go to other distant areas like Anantnag and Bijbehara to play cricket with different teams.
Waseem even went outside to seek coaching from the experts at Karnataka Institute of Cricket (KIOC) Bangalore.

He is a part of the J and K under the 25 team and has been scaring batters with the pace!” he has tweeted.
Waseem’s videos are equally getting super viral on all the social media platforms including Facebook, where fans are also hoping for his IPL debut this season.
An official of the JKCA stated, The Kashmir Monitor that Waseem has performed better in the domestic circuit. “We talented bowlers, batters as well as all-rounders. Bashir is one among those who are doing great in domestic competitions,” he mentioned.
