Ilhan Omar chairs the Congressional Progressive Caucus which has worked for a $15 minimum wage, free healthcare, forgiveness of student loan debt, preservation of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program, and also the abolition of US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
