The two ladies are charged with assault, property destruction, and extortion in the case. Diggs alleges in the court filings that Jones hit him in the chest and “threatened with a deadly weapon,” causing him to suffer from significant emotional anguish. Due to the alleged misconduct and property damage, the four-time Pro Bowl player is now requesting damages.
According to court documents obtained by the Houston Chronicle, Diggs alleges that he was a victim of “a tale of abuse to extort millions of dollars.” The wide receiver claims that Jones and Mack attempted to blackmail him by threatening to expose information that could damage his career unless he paid them a substantial amount.
Diggs’ attorney, Kent Schaffer, described the relationship between Diggs and Mulan as “casual” and it took place in the months before a June 7 incident cited in the lawsuit.
Brianna “Brii” Mack is also listed as a defendant in the lawsuit and the lawsuit claimed Jones, who previously appeared on “Basketball Wives Orlando,” and Mack destroyed property at Diggs’ apartment and had “refused to leave.”
Jones allegedly went to the hospital earlier that morning because of “nausea and vomiting” from what was described in the lawsuit as a “long” night of partying and was released from the hospital within an hour and denied that she had suffered “physical abuse of any kind”.
