Popular Nigerian singer Davido and his to be wife Chioma Rowland’s three-year-old son Ifeanyi, was found dead after drowning in a pool accident
The shocking incident took place on Monday at Davido’s residence located in Banana Island, in Nigeria’s capital, Lagos.

According to reports, the Lagos State Police are currently questioning the eight domestic workers employed at the singer’s residence.
Investigations Are Underway
Davido’s son was reportedly underwater for quite a long period of time before someone noticed him. Doctors had declared him already dead by the time they took the young boy to the hospital.
Benjamin Hundeyin, a spokesperson for the Lagos state police, stated that they are currently reviewing the CCTV cameras in order to gain additional information about how he died. He further stated that they have deposited the boy’s body in the morgue.
Both Davido and Rowland are in close touch with the police and were there with them until last night. Hundeyin also confirmed that they still haven’t closed the investigation and that they will arrest anyone proven to be involved.
No Arrests Made So Far
Hundeyin mentioned that the police have taken the domestic staff to the station to gather their accounts of the incident. He informed that after the staff members give their accounts of the incident, and once the preliminary investigations conclude, they will arrest anyone found to be guilty of the boy’s death.
Davido and his partner Chioma Rowland were apparently not present at home when the tragic incident occurred. The couple haven’t made any comments about the tragic incident so far.
