Once the dog vanished, a thorough door-to-door investigation that included around 500 homes took place over the course of more than 36 hours. The authorities put in a valiant effort, but each lead came up dry, leaving them disappointed.
Overnight, search efforts lasted, but the dog was nowhere to be found. According to reports, Commissioner Selva Kumari J. claimed she had no idea when or how the dog vanished. In order to find the dog, police examined CCTV cameras as well.
While certain local media sources claim that the dog has now been located, it doesn’t end Selva Kumari’s problems. Despite the fact that she denied the claims of using extensive official machinery to find her dog, people got annoyed and said that she did too much.

Her full name is Selva Kumari Jayarajan. She was born on 16 May 1977 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. She is married. IAS officer Selva Kumari J’s husband Ranvir Prasad is an IAS officer too of UP Cadre 2000 batch and is currently posted as the Relief Commissioner.
After completing her schooling, she graduated from the University of Madras with a Bachelor of Architecture degree. After that, she studied at the Indira Gandhi National Open University and graduated with a Master of Public Policy degree.
She is currently 46 years old.

Commissioner Selva Kumari started her remarkable career in 2006 after successfully passing the UPSC exam and moving up to the esteemed post of an IAS officer. She has held the positions of Magistrate at Lalitpur, Mahoba, and Jhansi.
With her first major responsibility as the District Magistrate of Kasganj, she demonstrated her leadership skills and commitment to public service. In July 2021, Commissioner Selva Kumari assumed the position of District Magistrate of Aligarh. She is currently posted in Meerut as a divisional commissioner.
