In the meantime, the state’s Bhajan Lal administration has reassigned 72 IAS and 121 RAS officers, giving IAS Tina Dabi’s sister Ria Dabi a significant position. Till now, Ria Dabi has been working on an Awaiting Posting Order (APO) but now she has been appointed as SDM Girva in the Udaipur district.
Ria Dabi was born on July 12, 1998 in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, India, Ria relocated with her family to Delhi, shaping the foundation of her remarkable story. She is 5ft 5in tall.
Ria commenced her academic journey at the Convent of Jesus and Mary in Delhi for her fundamental education. Subsequently, she pursued her bachelor’s degree in Political Science at Lady Sri Ram College, Delhi University, where she honed her intellect and academic prowess.
In the 2020 UPSC Civil Services Examination, Ria Dabi achieved All India Rank(AIR) 15th rank is a batch 2021 officer.
Ria scored a total of 1021 marks in the UPSC CSE exam. She got 859 marks in the written test and 162 marks in the interview.
Ria’s parents, Jaswant Dabi and Himani Dabi played pivotal roles in her life. Jaswant, an employee of Bharat Broadband Network Limited, and Himani who served in the Indian Engineering Service (IES), provided unwavering support. Himani’s decision to resign from her job to care for Ria and her sister Tina underscores the profound familial dedication.

Motivated by Tina, Ria set her sights on the UPSC Civil Services Exam after completing her graduation. Undeterred by the challenges, she dedicated ten hours a day to her studies, following a regimen that ultimately led her to the fifteenth position in the UPSC exams.
