Back in November last year, Abhishek Singh blogged about his new assignment on social media. As such, he was removed from Gujarat election duty, attracting a lot of attention. He eventually announced his resignation from the Indian Administrative Service (IAS).

Abhishek Singh is an Indian IAS officer who was born on August 22, 1990, in Uttar Pradesh, India. He was born to parents Akhilesh Singh and Janki Singh, his father Akhilesh is a retired police officer.

Career
Abhishek cracked the UPSC exams back in 2011 with an AIR of 94. Following his achievements, Abhishek Singh received a three-year deputation with the Delhi government back in 2015. After those three years, he got another two-year extension in 2018 following which he took a medical leave. As a result, the Delhi government sent him back to his home cadre in Uttar Pradesh on March 19, 2020. Abhishek took a long period off and refused to return to duty despite urges from the appointment department. He eventually reported back to duty and started his duty in UP on June 30, 2022.
Aside from his career in the IAS, he has also built a reputation in the entertainment industry. He has appeared in various movies like including the popular Netflix series “Delhi Crime”. He has also appeared in the short film titled Chaar Pandrah, as well as the song Dil Tod Ke by B Praak.
