Hailing from the historic city of Jhansi, IAS Krati Raj is a civil servant of the 2021 batch.
After passing the UPSC CSE 2020 with a 106 rank, she was appointed as an IAS officer. With more than 100,000 followers on Instagram, she enjoys great popularity there. Krati scored 982 marks in her final UPSC exam. Raj is a resident of Jhansi and did her schooling from the St. Francis Convent School, Jhansi. She is aged between 30-35 years.

Kriti Raj is from the Banda district but her family is settled in Jhansi district. Her father Rajendra Kumar is a retired employee of Grassland and mother Saroj Gaur is a housewife. She has a brother Kushagra Raj who is a software engineer in Ireland.
She passed the 12th board exam from the Jai Academy and graduated in Computer Science from BIET (Bundelkhand Institute of Engineering and Technology, Jhansi) and completed her B.Tech in 2014. She then founded an NGO named Kalpavriksha Welfare Foundation and gave her first attempt for UPSC in 2017 and gave her second attempt in 2018.

At Dida Mai health centre, IAS Krati Raj managed to discover the truth behind persistent complaints regarding the centre’s inefficiencies. One particular grievance, concerning the absence of a doctor past the designated hour for administering crucial treatments ignited her resolve to delve deeper into the matter.
A complaint has been received regarding the Dida Mai Health Centre, stating that the doctor was absent even after 10 am. The doctor failed to administer an injection for a dog bite.
IAS Krati Raj engaged in conversations with fellow patients. Upon securing an appointment and confronting the doctor, she found out that doctors were not available at the centre.
