Humam Sakhnini is all set to step in as the newly appointed CEO of Discord. Following the news about the appointment, Co-founder Jason Citron described it as “a step in that direction,” signaling the company’s future ambitions. Citron co-founded Discord in 2012 and has led the company for over 13 years. While he steps down from his executive role, he will continue to serve as a board member and advisor.

Humam Sakhnini served as President of King since January 2019, formerly serving as Chief Financial Officer/Chief Strategy Officer between 2016 and 2019 and as President, Humam lead the operational management of King and its iconic Candy Crush Saga, Farm Heroes Saga, Bubblewitch Saga, and Pet Rescue Saga franchises.
