Huang Yaqiong is a Chinese badminton player who was born on February 28, 1994, in Quzhou, China. She specializes in doubles and she is a three-time World Champion, two-time Asian Games gold medalist, and two-time Asian Champion. Huang and her partner Zheng Siwei are the current world number 1 in the mixed doubles. The pair also notably won a silver medal in the 2020 Summer Olympics and a gold at the ongoing Paris Olympics 2024.

Huang Yaqiong won the prestigious All England Open back in 2017 alongside her partner Lu Kai. She won the same event in 2019 alongside Zheng Siwei. Yaqiong also won the 2017 Asian Championships together with her partner Lu. She notably won the gold medal at the 2018 and 2022 Asian Games with her current partner Zheng.
The pair also claimed the BWF World Championships titles across 2018, 2019, and 2022. Due to her performances Huang was named the BWF Female Player of the Year in 2018 and 2019. She notably won the mixed doubles at the 2020 Summer Olympics with her current partner Zheng Siwei. She has since gone on to win several medals at various levels, including nationals, continental and world championships.
