When Hania Aamir was studying at the Foundation for Advancement of Science and Technology (FAST-NUCES), she auditioned for the romantic comedy Janaan in 2016. It was a movie produced by the debutant filmmaker Imran Kazmi. Janaan received positive reviews and was a big commercial success.
