Habiba Abdul-Jabbar, born Janice Brown, is the ex-wife of Kareem Abdul Jabbar. While still going by Ferdinand Lewis Alcindor Jr., the NBA star first met Janice during a Lakers game during his final year at UCLA.

At the age of 24, Alcindor converted to Islam and adopted the name, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. In the same year that Janice and Kareem got married, Janice also embraced Islam and changed her name to Habiba Abdul-Jabbar.
