Jake Jarman is British artistic gymnast who was born on December 3, 2001, in Peterborough, UK. He competes at the senior elite level internationally for Great Britain, and for England at the Commonwealth Games. Jarman has featured on the GBR national team from 2018โpresent.
Jarman was born to a British father and a Filipina mother who hails from Cebu. During an interview with the Philippine Star, Jarman shared how he lived in the Philippines for two years. As a result, he still maintains a relationship with his Filipino relatives and regularly communicates with them.
Jake’s dad Tony, mum Ana and nan Sheila were hopeful of his Olympic medal success. He is in a relationship with Georgia Dilley, a skilled baker who runs a baking company.

Career and achievements
Despite his young age, Jake Jarman has a list of impressive achievements. Aside from now being an Olympic bronze medallist, he is a World Champion, 3-time European Champion, and 4-time Commonwealth Champion. Before competing in the senior level, Jarman first competed in the junior division of the European Championships in 2018. During this event, he helped the British team win the silver medal and won an individual silver on vault.
His breakthrough came during the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games, which was also his first major senior championships. Jarman managed to four gold medals, in the team all-around, individual all-around, floor exercise and vault. He became the first English male gymnast to do so at a single Games. Just a few weeks later in Munich 2022, he represented Great Britain, and Jarman became European champion in the team and vault events.
This time again, he broke another record of becoming the first British male to win European gold on vault. The following year, in 2023, Jarman won another gold in vault at the 2023 World Championships. He became the first Briton to win world gold on the apparatus. Earlier this year, Jarman won his second European vault title. And now, he has won the bronze medal in the 2024 men’s Olympic floor exercise.
